Based in Carbondale, Illinois, Bearer is a three-piece band whose sound focuses on blending punk and metal with elements of pop music. The result is a unique blend of hook-driven, aggressive, heavy punk. Formed in 2011, Bearer has continued to have the same line-up, consisting of John Atkinson (bass/ vocals), Michael Lighty (guitar/ vocals), and Max Senteney (drums/ vocals).
